SITQ will sponsor the first ever Pierre d’Or for sustainable real estate at the upcoming 2010 Pierres d’Or award ceremony on February 3. The annual event is the brainchild of the editorial staff of Immoweek-Expertise Pierre. Now in its 12th year, it attracts all the major players from the real estate industry across France.

Meka Brunel, Managing Director, SITQ Europe, will have the honour of presenting the Pierre d’Or for sustainable real estate to the Cité de l’Architecture et du Patrimoine de Paris. SITQ is proud to sponsor this new award, which recognizes organizations or individuals actively promoting sustainable real estate development in France.

Committing to this new award is a natural fit for SITQ as sustainability is one of its core corporate  values. It is also in line with Ms. Brunel’s involvement with a green housing taskforce created under the French government’s Plan Bâtiment Grenelle, to study the impact of environmental and sustainability data on property values in France.
