151 Buckingham Palace Road has been designed by Arup Associates and developed by Greycoat Plc. The development comprises 123 and 151 Buckingham Palace Road, two mirror image buildings, separated by a large glass covered square, known as Fountain Square.The development is supported by means of a composite structured steel and reinforced concrete deck over Victoria Station, one of the busiest hubs in Central London, and is of steel frame construction with profiled steel decking and reinforced concrete floorslabs. Externally, the building has an imposing modern appearance through the use of aluminium and glass curtain walling. His is augmented by the use of the impressive stone wall fronting Buckingham Palace Road, maintaining an attractive, quiet environment within the scheme.The building has a triple glazed, double-skinned façade on all six levels. Access to the office is provided by four 30 person glazed lifts opening onto bridge links that span the atrium at each level.
